Program Overview

Whether you are an experienced practitioner, new hire, or career changer, the Procurement and Supply Management Certificate Program helps you formally grasp a collection of pertinent Procurement & Supply Management concepts to sharpen your skills for career advancement.

This program is offered as a four-week online course. After successful completion of the 21-hour program and a final exam, graduates are eligible for a PSM Professional Certificate offered exclusively in the region by UNC Charlotte in partnership with the Institute for Supply Management Carolinas-Virginia.

The courses are designed and delivered by Institute for Supply Management approved instructors and practitioners and are part of a national initiative to provide a standardized curriculum for industry peers at all levels.

What is Procurement and Supply Management?

Procurement & Supply Management (PSM) is the art of finding, negotiating, and solidifying the purchase of goods and/or services for an organization while figuring out when and how to transport products or deploy labor to exactly where an organization needs it to be at the right time.
