Program Overview
The College and Career Counseling Certificate program equips counselors, educators, advisors and non-profit personnel with essential knowledge and strategies for culturally competent and equity-focused practices. The certificate is designed to meet the needs of individuals seeking access to postsecondary education that is aligned to career and personal interests. Curriculum will cover college admissions advising, career coaching, financial aid planning and increasing access to postsecondary education. The Academic Partner will infuse concepts related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
