This innovative partnership between UNC Charlotte and Stanly Community College paves the way for busy adults like you. At Stanly Community College you can earn your associate degree online at your own pace, or just take the courses you need to fulfill admissions prerequisites before seamlessly transferring to UNC Charlotte to complete your bachelor’s.
To streamline the application process and start the OnRamp to Charlotte Online, let’s review the next steps and ensure you’re fully prepared.
Step 1: Review Required Courses
Before officially enrolling at UNC Charlotte, please carefully review the prerequisite courses required for the Business Administration program. You can find a detailed list of these courses on our website.
Step 2: Calculate GPA
To ensure eligibility, calculate your overall GPA based on your previous academic transcripts. You can use an online GPA calculator or manually average your grades from all completed courses. Here’s what you need:
- Overall GPA: Aim for a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Business Progression Courses: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in these specific courses, crucial for your success in the program.
- Individual Course Performance: Each progression course requires a minimum grade of C with no more than two attempts per course.
Step 3: Submit Application (available August 2024)
Once you’ve confirmed you meet the prerequisites and GPA requirement, head over to our online application portal. The application will be available starting August 2024. The application process is straightforward and only takes about 30 minutes to complete. Be sure to gather all necessary documents, including your academic and employment history, before starting the application.
